COACHING STAFF

Scott Harrison - Academy Director

Coach Harrison is a mainstay in youth and high school soccer throughout the Shenandoah Valley, with over 29 years of coaching experience. Coach Harrison is currently the head coach for the Riverheads High School Gladiators varsity boys’ soccer team. Coach Harrison holds the USSF National Youth License, the United Soccer Coaches Advanced National, and Director of Coaching Diplomas. In addition, Coach Harrison has been named Coach of the Year at both the state and conference levels in multiple seasons and has produced a multitude of All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State players during his tenure. In addition to serving as the Director of the Summus/Stuart Hall Summer Soccer Academy, Coach Harrison will work with various age groups throughout the week.

 


 

Brandon Fern

Coach Fern is the Technical Director for the Waynesboro High School Little Giants girls’ soccer teams, in addition to leading several youth girls’ teams. A Shenandoah Valley native, Coach Fern has established multiple player development initiatives throughout the region and is an integral member of the Summus/Stuart Hall Summer Soccer Academy. Coach Fern will work with each age group at various points throughout the week.

 

 

 

 

Robert Rose 

Coach Rose has been coaching at various levels for over 12 years, most recently at an NCAA Division III level. Coach Rose holds the USSF D License, the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 3 Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma, and the United Soccer Coaches College Coaching Professional Development Certificate.

 


 

 

Marcel Ciascai

Coach Ciascai is the head coach of the Fort Defiance Indians varsity boys’ soccer team, and the Stuart Hall Red Dragons junior varsity boys’ team. As a former semi-professional player from Romania, and a highly experienced youth and high school coach, Coach Ciascai brings a wealth of experience to the Summus/Stuart Hall Soccer Academy staff. Coach Ciascai will work with each age group at various points throughout the week.

 

 


 

Samantha Honig

Coach Honig has 20+ years of soccer playing experience. After playing youth soccer in the Northern Virginia area, Coach Honig played Division I soccer at the University of Richmond. Coach Honig now coaches at the premier level for SOCA-Augusta for ages U11-U13. In addition, Coach Honig is a volunteer coach for the Lee High Girls Varsity Soccer team. Coach Honig holds the USSF E License, the USSF D License, and the United Soccer Coaches Level I Goalkeeper Diploma.

 

 


 

Chris Wondree

Coach Wondree has 25+ years of playing experience, including NCAA Division III and semi-professional indoor soccer. With over 9 years of coaching experience at various levels from youth academy to premier travel, Coach Wondree is currently the head coach of the Fort Defiance Indians varsity girls' soccer team. Coach Wondree will work with each age group at various points throughout the week.
